One Year Mold Warranty  We guarantee that (if the conditions that led to excessive moisture have been corrected) and we treat your property, no new visible mold will reoccur for a period of one year or we will re-treat at no charge. Should a new water intrusion event to the treated area occur, AQP, Inc. must be notified within 72 hours to minimize damage and void of warranty.  We also guarantee that when our treatment is completed, the interior levels (*pre and post testing required) of live mold and contaminants will not exceed the outside baseline levels or there is absolutely no charge. We reserve the right to retreat if necessary. This guarantee is fully transferable.

What is the Kill Time?
Generally an entire property can be restored in as little as 24 hours however, in rare cases of extreme damage additional time may be needed  for reconstruction efforts. 

What happens to a contaminate once neutralized?
Contaminates are killed, and their counterparts are reduced to a non-detectable level. Once neutralized, the contaminate is nonviable, and cannot grow or cause any further damage. Additionally, the toxins are neutralized and changed, and will not likely cause any further reactions. Clean up using water, rags, mops and vacuums is all that is needed to remove dead contaminates.

Can the IAQ Guard™ process break down petroleum products?
The process, with its ability to break down the more biodegradable components, provides a method of cleaning chemical and petroleum spills, reducing spread and minimizing fumes.

Is IAQ Guard™ safe in the kitchen?
Yes, IAQ Guard™ is non-toxic to humans. You will want to wipe down all surfaces that will come into contact with food preparation areas, just as you would with any kitchen cleaner.

Can AQP, Inc. use the IAQ Guard™ process to pretreat for mold and other contaminates?
Yes, the IAQ Guard™ process is used to pretreat porous construction materials such as lumber, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, and furnishings.  With the IAQ Guard™ process there is no need for precleaners.  The IAQ Guard™ process is a one step process to eliminate 'kill' any existing contamination and the remaining residue acts as the microbial shield providing long term protection. *Note: fasteners, flashings, nails and screws used in construction should be electro galvanized, G -185 is the best galvanized protection that you can buy. Simpson's ZMax line and USP Structural Connectors' Triple Zinc line both are rated at G-185. As for nails and screws, many of the composite coatings that are currently available are still good. The key is to NOT use raw (untreated) metals.

Can AQP, Inc. protect surfaces and equipment for extended periods of time?
Yes, the IAQ Guard™ process  has been used in Gyms, Locker rooms, Hospitals, Schools, Cruise Ships, Hotel Rooms and other high risk areas to eliminate 'kill' any existing contamination and the remaining residue acts as the microbial shield providing long term protection. 

Can the species of contamination determine whether the IAQ Guard™ process will be effective?
No. The formulation is effective against all common sporicidal bacteria, viral and mold species. It has passed the AOAC Sporicidal Test against mold, bacterial and viral spores, the most rigid bio test there is, and the AOAC Use Dilution test.

1) Is IAQ Guard™ environmentally friendly?
The IAQ Guard™ process has none of the problems of gaseous release of using chlorine (chlorinated organics) or chemical residues that are associated with chemical oxidants. The IAQ Guard™ process complies with the Pollution Prevention Act, the Clean Air Act, and Public Law regarding the use of hazardous and toxic materials and Ozone Depleting Substances. The IAQ Guard™ process does not contribute to the negative impact associated with greenhouse gasses produced.

2) Is the IAQ Guard™ process consistent with the Clean Air Act?
The process does not emit any emissions; the IAQ Guard™ fog is a liquid not a gas so the particulates that form the fog fall to the ground.  The IAQ Guard™ process is actually grasping harmful spores floating in the air and capturing, destroying and removing them, therefore it does not fall under any of the criteria of the Clean Air Act.

3) Is the IAQ Guard™ process biodegradable and non-toxic?
Yes.  Two independent laboratories have tested the IAQ Guard™ process meeting biodegradability criteria within 30 days making it “inherently biodegradable”.  The by-products of the IAQ Guard™ process have not been determined to have cancer causing or other toxic effects making the process completely safe for children, pets, immuno-compromised individuals and the elderly.

Does the IAQ Guard™ process utilize perfumes?
No, the IAQ Guard™ process neutralizes odor by eliminating the cause of the odor without the use of perfumes and masking chemicals.

Are the remaining residues of the IAQ Guard™ toxic?
No, the residues of the reaction with spores and toxins are not toxic. The spores are neutralized, and the toxins no longer toxins, but much shorter chain molecules.

Does the IAQ Guard™ process encapsulate the contaminates?
No, the IAQ Guard™ process does not encapsulate the contaminate.  The IAQ Guard™ process kills and therefore eliminates the potential for regrowth or reemission of the contaminate.  The fact that the IAQ Guard™ process does not  encapsulate makes the IAQ Guard™ process the preferred choice for treating contaminated areas because the contaminate is completely removed from the area during clean up.
